Reconstruction of the bridge over the Tagil river in Frunze Street

THE MAIN PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS

The two-lane bridge crossing along Frunze Street was built in 1962. Since then, the number of cars in the city has increased significantly, which means that load on the bridge has also increased, while its carrying capacity has remained the same. To solve the problem, the designers proposed to dismantle the existing bridge structures and erect new ones - with four lanes, tram tracks and sidewalks. This object is included in the municipal program “Development and Maintenance of Urban and Municipal Facilities of Nizhny Tagil till 2023”.

2015 -2016

PROJECT OUTPUT

In 2015, the preparatory stage of reconstruction was completed, including the construction of a temporary low-water bridge along Krasnoarmeyskaya Street. In 2016, the old bridge was dismantled, engineering networks were transferred, the assembly of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures was completed, demolition and construction of the track bed structure was completed.
