THE MAIN PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS

Implementation of the project for development of recreation area “Promenade “Tagil Lagoon” is aimed at providing conditions for improving citizens’ life quality due to recreation and tourism infrastructure development, increase in city investment attractiveness.

The following is provided within the project:

• conducting complex land improvement of total area – 102 652.5 sq.m.;

• performance of engineering works on bank stabilization of the Tagil Pond embankment;

Construction of tourism infrastructure facilities:

• “Nizhny Tagil Park Inn by Radisson” hotel;

•  cafe “NeBar”;

•  cafe “Parus”;

•  cultural and entertainment centre in Nizhny Tagil Circus.

PROJECT OUTPUT

Within the project implementation:

• built and put into operation in September 2015 hotel “Park Inn by Radisson” for 127 rooms, area of hotel room capacity increased by 5568.5 sq.m.;

• in June 2016, cafe “NeBar” was put into operation for 136 seats;

• construction of cafe “Parus” for 160 seats is being completed;

• engineering works on bank stabilization of Tagil Pond embankment were carried on the territory of 1200 m long,

• engineering communications with a total length of 3491.5 m were laid;

• foot path paving was made ofgranite slabs - 13814 sq.m.;

• lawn arrangement was carried out - 22547 sq.m .;

• hardscape elements were installed - 201 pcs;

• playgrounds (children) were installed - 4 pcs;

• playgrounds (sports) were installed - 3 pcs.

Use of natural advantages of the locality, preservation of unique landscape areas, has made it possible to create an interconnected system of updated recreation area and water space, contributing to formation of the whole architectural and expressive urban ensemble.
